If interested in adopting one of our cats, please contact us at (585) 243-0873 or e-mail our President at vraschi@aol.com.

All Hearthside Cats 6 months and older have tested negative for Feleuk/FIV, have been spayed or neutered, are up to date on vaccinations, and have been wormed. Kittens under 6 months have been tested for Feleuk/FIV, vaccinated and usually spayed or neutered. A $30 adoption fee applies to all cats and kittens.

Pop. Hi! My name is Pop and I loooove to play. My sister Lolly has been adopted and I would love to find a home too. I will make you laugh all day long with my silly antics and all-around cuteness. Did I mention that I love to play?! My ideal home would provide me with lots of playtime and playthings. I have been neutered and vaccinated so I am all set to go home!
Sylvester. Sylvester came into foster care as a stray, and although we suspect he was once someone's pet, no owners could be located. He is a young medium-sized brown tiger with a wonderful calm and friendly personality. He is even great around children and would make a wonderful addition to any family. He is a great lap-warmer too.
Pat and Danny. These beautiful black and white boys are two more of the kittens we have available for adoption. Their mother was killed by a car so they came into our foster care with their calico sister (not pictured). They have all been spayed, neutered, tested and vaccinated.
Bob. Bob was born in 2009 and is a very outgoing playful cat with gorgeous markings. He is very much like a puppy in that he is sweet and playful, but he can be "mouthy" when he gets excited. He does not intend to hurt anyone -- he just wants to show his affection by gnawing on your fingers or hands. Our vet says this problem is not unusual for orphaned kittens who do not have a mother or siblings to set boundaries on appropriate play habits. For this reason, he would do best in an adult-only home.
Winky. Winky was born in 2003 and was originally adopted from Hearthside 6 years ago. However, his family's circumstances changed and they could no longer care for him so we welcomed him back into our foster care. This sudden change has stressed him out a bit, but he is very sweet and enjoys attention and petting. His unique markings are very handsome.
Marie. Marie is a gorgeous brown tiger with orange highlights. She was born in 2007, is on the smaller side, and is very calm and sweet.
Winny. Winny is a black female cat with a small white bib who was born in 2006. She is great fun and loves to have her belly rubbed, but hates to be confined. She has been in foster care for some time now and is looking for someone to give her a chance.
Mercedes. Mercedes is medium-sized black and white female cat who was born in 2008. She loves to watch the butterflies and birds outside.
Sophie.
Sophie is a beautiful old female calico who was born in 2007. She has extra toes and will make sure you keep her food bowl full by poking you when it is empty! Her foster mom affectionately refers to her as a bowling ball with legs.
Ty.
Ty was born in 2009 and is a very handsome white male cat. He is a little shy as a result of bad encounters with bad people, but once he gets to know you he is absolutely fine.
Dexter.
Dexter was born in 2009 and is still a little shy and can be slow to warm up to new people. However, he is very playful! He should do well in a home where he can get some extra affection.
Nina. Nina is my name. I am a tiger with the prettiest white paws. I am a cuddle kitty. Come cuddle with me.
Mona. Mona is a large adult female tiger ready for a home of her own. She was born in October of 2003 and is spayed and up to date on her shots. She has been in foster care for a while, and although she enjoys it, she is incredibly affectionate and has lots of love to share with a new owner or family of her own.
Felix.
My name is Felix, and I am a 4 year old gray and white boy. My previous people had me declawed, and I am a little insecure. I could come to your home and if you could lavish me with patience I would not need to be afraid anymore.
Bambi.
Bambi is a beautiful gray lady who was born in 2006. She is very petite with tiny feet. She is affectionate, but needs to get to know you first, so adoption has not been easy. Give her a chance and time, and she will blossom.
Brody.
Brody is a strong boy and solid black. He was born in the summer of 2009 and has been in foster care since he was just a kitten.
Jinx. Jinx is a handsome fivr year-old black and white tuxedo male. He was abused and can be a bit unpredictable, biting people if he feels threatened. As a result he should be in an adult-only home. Otherwise, he is a big boy who enjoys drinking from the faucet.
Smoke. Smoke is a grey cat who was born in 2007. He needs a home of his own where he can come into his own.
Mac. Mac is a small male tiger. He was born in 2007 and is still trying to decide what he thinks of humans.
Lucky Paul. Lucky Paul is a playful young cat interested in everything! He is very active and fun. Luck Paul was born in August of 2004.
Robin. Robin and his brother pictured below (John) were abandoned as kittens on a driveway before coming to Hearthside. They were born in November of 2002 and are now all grown up! Their social skills with both cats and people have improved greatly and they are now ready for their own homes. Robin is a very big grey and white tiger. His foster mom refers to him as a Twenty Pound Wonder!
John. John is one of a litter of abandoned kittens who is now all grown up and looking for a home of his own. He is a very big grey and white tiger, with more white than his brother Robin, pictured above.
