Join us for our sixth annual Walk for
Cats at the Depot in Highland Park in Geneseo on Sunday May 4th at 1:30 pm! We have renamed the event
in honor of Dr. Filippo Aiello, a veterinarian who touched the lives of many animals
and people. Dr. Aiello, a veterinarian who worked closely with Hearthside
Cats, passed away in March of 2005 after a brief illness. Dr. Aiello provided
not only excellent medical care but also an abundance of compassion and
kindness for the animals and the people that shared their lives. He made
a difference for those he touched -- and he touched so many. The Filippo
Aiello Memorial Walk for Cats honors him by celebrating the joy he spread
and celebrating his love for the animals. |

 | You can help by putting on your walking shoes and recruiting friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor you or walk with you! Use the Pledge Form to collect donations from sponsors. | Start collecting your pledges as soon as you can,
and bring your completed pledge forms to the event on May 4th.
Sign-in begins at 1:30 pm at the Depot in Heighland Park. The walk begins at 2:00 pm – rain or shine – and follows a 1 mile course on sidewalks throughout the beautiful
village of Geneseo, ending back at the Depot. Walkers collecting $50 or more will receive a
t-shirt. Door prizes and refreshments will round out the afternoon. All proceeds from the walk will
directly benefit Hearthside Cats,
an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization dedicated to caring for
homeless cats and kittens in our area.
