| This year’s Walk for Cats will be on Sunday, May 2 at Highland Park in Geneseo. This is a wonderful family outing that doesn’t tie up the whole day…only two hours from registration to refreshments and wrap-up. And it makes an easy and fun community service project for schools and groups. So mark your calendar to join us this year. We’re looking for walkers, sponsors and volunteers - you can help by putting on your walking shoes and recruiting friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor you or walk with you! Use the Pledge Form to collect donations from sponsors. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view the pledge form and is available for free download here. Refreshments and prizes will be provided. | Start collecting your pledges as soon as you can,
and bring your completed pledge forms to the event on May 2nd.
Sign-in begins at 1:30 pm at the Depot in Heighland Park. The walk begins at 2:00 pm – rain or shine – and follows a 1 mile course on sidewalks throughout the beautiful
village of Geneseo, ending back at the Depot. Walkers collecting $50 or more will receive a
t-shirt. Door prizes and refreshments will round out the afternoon. All proceeds from the walk will
directly benefit Hearthside Cats,
an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization dedicated to caring for
homeless cats and kittens in our area.
